Orta Truva Madencilik is the Turkish subsidiary of Pilot Investment Inc., a subsidiary of Liberty Gold Corp. operating worldwide, and Teck Madencilik San. Tic. A.Ş. as a joint venture of Orta Truva Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. on 12.10.2006. On 30.12.2008, the name of the Company was changed to Orta Truva Madencilik Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. On 10.06.2024, Orta Truva Madencilik San. Tic. A.Ş., the shareholders Pilot Investment Inc. and Teck Madencilik San. Tic. A.Ş., CVK Maden İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. completed the share transfer process as of 08.10.2024 and made Orta Truva Madencilik its subsidiary.
Established in Ankara, the Company is known in the mining sector for its "TV Tower Project" located in Çanakkale province. Within the scope of the "TV Tower Project", which is a polymetallic project, there are 4 Group IV operating license areas. According to the "UMREK-2023 Coded Resource Estimation Report" dated 15.05.2024 prepared by the National Mineral Reserve and Resource Reporting Commission (UMREK) authorities, there are 2.23 million ounces of Gold, 36.3 million ounces of Silver and 764.94 million pounds of Copper resources in the fields within the scope of the project. The total Gold equivalent of the mineral ores indicated in the Resource Estimation Report is 4.58 million ounces. The mineral resources indicated in the Resource Estimation Report were obtained from exploration in approximately 10% of the 8,625.88 hectares of license areas within the scope of the Project.
After the acquisition by CVK Madencilik, the Company's head office has been moved to Istanbul and the works within the scope of the "TV Tower Project" located in Çanakkale province continue.
