Originally headquartered in Ankara, Orta Truva is known in the mining sector for the TV Tower Project located within Çanakkale province. To date, exploration and drilling activities within Orta Truva have primarily focused on the TV Tower Project. After its acquisition by CVK Madencilik, Orta Truva’s headquarters were relocated to Istanbul. In the initial phase, expansion of exploration and drilling operations within the existing licensed areas in Çanakkale province is planned, while plans for establishing a production facility will be evaluated in the later stages.
The TV Tower Project, a polymetallic project, includes four licensed sites classified as Group IV. According to the “Resource Estimation Report with UMREK-2023 Code” dated 15.05.2024, prepared by the National Mineral Resources and Reserves Reporting Commission (UMREK), the project areas contain 2.23 million ounces of gold, 36.3 million ounces of silver, and 764.94 million pounds of copper. The total gold equivalent of these mineral resources is 4.58 million ounces. The mineral resources stated in the Resource Estimation Report were identified from exploration activities conducted on approximately 10% of the licensed area, which covers 8,625.88 hectares.
