Gold, whose symbol is Au, is a bright yellow metal that is resistant to acids. Its atomic number is 79 and its atomic mass is 196.97. Since it is an element that does not react easily, it is not affected by air and water. For this reason, it does not rust, tarnish or become dull in colour. One of its important features is that it is very soft when in pure form and can be shaped easily.
Due to all these features, gold has been one of the most important metals throughout history. As CVK Madencilik, we plan to produce our first gold after the completion of our facility, which we have designed in the light of the data we have obtained as a result of the R&D studies we have been carrying out in the Balıkesir Sarıalan region since 2016.
