Aldridge Mineral Madencilik A.Ş. (“Aldridge”) was established in 2005 under the title of Aldridge Mineral Madencilik Ltd. Şti. as the Turkish subsidiary of Canada-based Aldridge Minerals Inc. Through a change of legal status in 2022, the company's title was changed to Aldridge Mineral Madencilik A.Ş.
The founder of Aldridge, Aldridge Minerals Inc., was acquired in 2018 by Virtus Mining Ltd. (“Virtus”), a tax resident in the Netherlands. Following the completion of the share transfer process, the shares of its Turkish subsidiary, Aldridge, were transferred to Virtus in 2019. In 2024, 70% of Virtus shares were acquired by CVK Maden İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“CVK Madencilik”). With this acquisition, the management and control of Virtus, and consequently Aldridge, passed to CVK Madencilik.
